Update: 3 arrests made in murder investigation of Nigerian student, Folajimi Orebiyi

Detectives investigating the murder of 17-year-old Folajimi Orebiyi in Notting Hill have made three arrests in connection with the murder
Two 16-year-old males were arrested last night (Monday, 4 July) on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody at separate central London police stations. A 15-year-old boy, arrested earlier on Monday on suspicion of murder, currently remains in custody at a central London police station.

Detectives continue to appeal for information and witnesses following the murder. Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at approximately 20:45hrs on Sunday, 3 July, to Portobello Road, W11, following reports of a teenage boy who had been stabbed.
Officers attended the scene and immediately administered first aid and CPR. London's Air Ambulance were called and arrived a short time later but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Although formal identification has yet to take place detectives are satisfied that the deceased is 17-year-old Folajimi Orebiyi from Kensington and Chelsea. His next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 5 July, at Westminster Mortuary.
Detectives from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating led by Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith.
